MIne was suppose to be deployed this weekend to CA-for training for Iraq-but got out of it since his enlistment is up in April Thank the Lord!!!

He has mixed feelings though-he wants to go-trained most of his adult life for this opportunity ,but with me and the kids and we would like to move in July-he just can't seem to justify it And the loss of income would break us!!!

My dh is just at drill.. he will be home Sunday!!

If he got payed better-he would probably go without too much hestitation!!!

My dh wants to quit the naval reserve and join the guard but then again he does not want to leave the seabee unit

he has to stay all weekend because it is 3 hrs away. he is in the .... oh i cant remember ... but it is det 28... I THINK

They said it would 2007 till his unit is combat ready. something about rotation years

DH is NMCB 28 reserve

I wouldn't count on it-DH's unit is up now-and will be replaced after six month in country by another CB unit-but it could be right around next Jan-when they have to head to CA for pre-training-I hope not
