You know what, I love hearing this. For the first time, I don't have to whine about snow.
Anyways, that sucks.
We usually get bad storms in like January and lose power, but not for long. I remember we had a bad snow/ice storm when I was in grade 3 or 4 and we had the week off school, and then there was another snow storm on Monday. We used to miss a lot of school because of snowstorms.
I remember we got like up to our waist in snow and NY, NY or somewhere got like two inches and they were in shock.

I used to pray for blizzards. I thought they were one of the coolest things ever, second only to power outages. And then, I grew up and realized power outages are disgusting.

It's fall where I am and not to mention some great weather!! Here's one time I didn't luck out with power::::

Well...I was babysitting. The windows were open a very little bit and the way the wind was blowing...it sounded like a tornado or hurricane was coming. (I seriously considered it was coming bc it was 1 day after the reports all over the news saying Long Island is gonna get hit with something.) Yea...so I locked up the house &&& windows and walked down to my house.(It's like.....7 houses down!! LOL)

But yea...not a very interseting stroy...sorry!! LOL
