No day off here... This is nuts!! We have a ball game tonight too. The kids asked this morning why send us home if they are willing to send us right back out in bad weather the following morning?

Okay, no day off for the kids..but DH just called and said he is turning around and coming back home to work from home for the day.. What takes 15 mins on a bad day... has taken him 1 hour! So, he said it was just wasting too much time!

We had 6 whole flakes last night. Every school around ours had a 2 hour delay. Not us though. Which is kind of good. I have things to do!

Sorry about the children having to go to school. That just doesn't seem right. I haven't checked the news yet to see how much we offically got, but my husky wants to stay inside and she never does that.

You're not alone there- we had the delay and that was it. DD decided she felt well enough to go (at the last minute) and since she didn't have fever (just a bit of a stuffy nose), I let her. Told her if she can't make, go see the nurse and I'll come and pick her up. She HATES to miss school. In a way that's a good thing, but there are times...

I don't know if we still have a game tonight or not. I'm getting ready to call the coach to find out. I'm hoping it gets postponed- the coach hasn't even issued uniforms yet!

Could you send just a little of the sn** our way? I don't want a lot, but we have 13 sn** days built into the school calendar, and I'd like to use just 1 or 2!

We only have 5 days built in. On the sixth day we start adding on to the school year. So we have 2 days left. Hope we don't get any more white stuff or icy stuff.

13!! WOW! All we have is a measly 2! We've used those up and will have at least one day added to the end of the year (so far). But I shouldn't complain as we are normally out by Memorial Day for summer vacation.

Get this.. we have 5 built in sn** days.. but if we miss a day WE use it the next available "sn** day or vacation day".. So, if they would have called off today.. they would have automatically made it up on Feb. 19th.
We are done the Thursday after Memorial Day this year!
