This sn## hit about 10 about 2 hours before they had predicted.. we already have at least an inch on the ground and the roads are slippery... I have had the phone ringing off the hook for 2 hours w/ parents trying to figure out if they would cancel anything!! Than a little boy I watch afterschool called me to let me know that they were getting out early (he called before it was even announced on TV)...

I was out in it this morning, Nancy--it was beginning to get pretty slippery at 12:30 with about 1.5 inches on the roads. My DH is finally on his way home from Connersville (almost to Cincinnati). Of course, my two youngest are already begging to go out and play in the stuff. We have been so spoiled not having to deal with it to this point.

We didn't have a sn** day- we had a cold day. I won't be surprised if we have a sn** day tomorrow- we have a good 2" up here already and it is still coming down. DH called me to let me know he is on his way home but it will take him longer (he's coming from Napannee).

Nancy- isn't your area under the sn** advisory? The forcast sounded like your area was going to get more than ours. Stay safe and warm!

He is coming from Connersville.. OMG! Those roads that direction are HORRIBLE when the weather is bad.. I graduated from Rushville!

Yes, we are under the Sn** advisory.. We already have 3.9 inches on the ground and it is still coming down at quite a clip! It hasn't stopped sn**ing since 10am here. I was so glad when I finally got all my children home from school. The house is actually toasty warm today.. and we've just been watching the sn** fall and hoping for a day off tomorrow!

He just called me from Rushville! it took him 45+ minutes to go what is a normal 15 minute drive. I really tried to talk him into postponing this trip today, but no luck. Maybe next time he will listen to me---NOT!

We've got 5 inches too..and can you believe it's still sn**ing off and on.. gee whiz... 5 hours was more than enough.. I just hope they delay school tomorrow.. my kids have decided not to chance it and have already or are completing their homework without giving me any grief! They must really be hoping for a day off so they don't have to worry about their homework!

Lucky you!! We have been watching the ticker across the bottom of the screens and NADA! We've had kids sn**-mobiling up and down our street.. I hope we get the day off so we can enjoy the sn** and play in it!!!

We are on a 2-hour delay right now. I hate to say it, but I hope they close school tomorrow. DS is supposed to have a basketball game (AAU) and DD is still sick, sooo I'm gonna have to figure out how to get him there. No school, no game. NOAA is calling for wind chill temps of -5 to -15 tomorrow. Add that to blowing and drifting sn**...my bet is they will cancel school. We're still getting a light sn**fall right now.
