Yeah i made my reservations!!!!!

Last night i kept getting up every few hours thinking about the big day. Anyway i got up early around 4:30 to get a few things done beforehand and was ready. I was in the middle of doing a few things and got up looked at the time on the t.v. it said 7:00, so i ran over to the phone and called. I did get past some of the prompts because i did a run through a few times before this, im sure it saved a little bit of time. I heard the magic wand and my stomach sank i was so nervous. To my surprise a dining reservationist got right on the phone and i had absolutely no wait. I did get everything i wanted but had to tweek a day or two. Day 1 Chef Mickey was totally booked so my backup was Ohana which i got for 8:10. She told me to call back because she felt there was an issue with the Chef Mickey reservations as they were coming up pretty late or full. Day 2 Akershus Princess Dinner @ 5:30. Day 3 Chef Mickey at 8:00 dinner ( i will call back for earlier time as suggested by the reservationist as she feels that the system has some sort of problem with the chef mickey reservations. Day 4 i got 7:10 dinner at Sci-Fi. All in all i am very happy it went as smoothly as it did. I got everything that i wanted & especially Ohana which i wasnt even going to ask for originally because i didnt even think i would get it or be stuck with a 9-10pm reservation. I hope everyone had a smooth time this morning and cant wait to hear about everyones experience.

Good for you! I got everything I wanted too, even though my day to call was last Monday - the first day of ADRs for free dining! I was on hold 1 1/2 hours though.....

But I'm happy that I got what I wanted!

so you are arriving Aug 25th TOO!!!
tomorrow for me too, and IPO at the GF just emailed me to let me know they will take care of it... I like it, but I am not liking it..
I have never handed over this control before.. I hope it will be a great experience!!!

I made my calls yesterday and got everything except Ohana for Dinner. Today I called and all I could get was Ohana 8/28 at 9:40pm. That is late for us especially my DS who will be 7 at the time. What time did you get Ohana? I am going to keep calling back. But if I have to keep that time I am planning on getting there early to watch Wishes at 9pm and then go eat. We will have to go back to the resort during the day and relax a little. Good Luck.

I know how you feel it really stinks with the later dining times with the kids. I guess i should consider myself lucky with the 8:10 (i will be calling daily though to see if there are any earlier times). Keep trying back you never know.

Definitely call back on Chef Mickey's. I had no problems getting an ADR for 8/28. I think the system crashes has really screwed things up. I'm thinking about calling and seeing if my confirmation numbers match up. I've heard people calling back to add a ressie and asking the CM to read back their times and such and some people discovered their ADR's were at wrong times and days etc.

I made mine this morning, got on right away with no wait. I had an awesome CM. The only one I didn't get was Crystal Palace before the MK opens, so I switched to Kona (I have a visual right now of the Macademia Pineapple Pancakes-YUM). I feel so much more relaxed than I did yesterday

i called back several times today for an earlier Chef Mickey because i got right through and had no luck. I figured after the sytem was down this morning maybe i would have luck but that didnt work. I will keep trying.
