Not to put a damper on your excitement, but you do realize don't you that room requests are just that 'requests' don't you? If you have your heart set on a certain area I'd hate for you to be disappointed if you get placed somewhere else.
When I was at WDW in January I had requested to be in the Zebra Trail looking into the Arusha Savanna at the AKL. I asked for it to be noted when I made the ressie, called a week before I left to make sure it was noted on the ressie, and called the AKL a couple of days before we got there to make sure it was in their system. When I checked in I mentioned it again to the CM and he said 'No that's not where they put you, but let me see what I can do.' We wound up on the Kudo Trail (not the Zebra Trail), but was looking into the Arusha Savanna, as requested. This past May at POP I requested top floor of either the 50's or 70's building facing the lake. I got a great room in the 50's building, but it was on the third floor, not the fourth on a corner closest to Classic Hall, no where near the lake.
