So yesterday I finished my PS's for 10/4-10/12 trip. Hope when the Oct hours post I don't have to change!
Thanks to this forum I learned alot from all the wealth of information you all share! This is our 1st and probably only WDW trip so just want to run it by the experts and see if I am missing anything. We are staying off site with DB's 7&8 and DD 5.

Tues..check in is at 4pm. Will head to MK so the kids can do a few rides and the Chef Mickeys at 7:10. (Only needed a 6d hopper so went for 7 to cover this short visit and there was hardly any $$ difference).

Wed..Will be calling daily now for CRT breakfast (surprise I couldn't get it!). If not have the Crystal Palace booked.
Spend the day at MK and then 5pm HDD Review. I know this may be an EA day but did not want to be somewhere else and get back for 5p dinner.

Thurs..AK w/5p Rainforest. Then head over to Epcot to see Illuminations so I don't have to add that at the end of our full Epcot day. Plus our next day is rest

Fri..kids sleep in (Mom and Dad too!). Will be a rest and hang by the pool day. 4:30 LTT and then the Halloween party!

Sat...Sea World and then 6:40 Whispering Canyon'

Sun..Epcot. While Dad and the boys are on scary rides, the princess and I will head at 10:30 to Gr Floridian for the "200 I couldn't resist Princess Tea"
Garden Grill at 6pm. I am hesitant about this due to mixed reviews. Don't really need the characters as we are doing otherw but someone said it revolves or something so thought the kiddies might lilke it. Any other suggestions? Le Cellier?

Mon..MGM day w/ 5:40 Prime Time 50's

Tues...CRT lunch and then MGM for 4:30 H&V/Fantasmic package. If we get the CRT breakfast earlier in the week will make this a full MGM day and the day before change to BLizzard Beach (and still go to PT 50's for dinner)

Wed...travel home (boo hoo!)
Thanks in advance for giving me any comments or suggestions. It is much appreciated!

Looks good to me - we'll be there the same week :smooth: - wow - first trip ! how exciting !
Glad to see you're resting on Friday before MNSSHP - we ate at LTT before the christmas party and thought it was a great way to start the night - we have LTT PS for Thurs night before the party.
I have never eaten at Garden Grill, but DNeph and I walked by it a few times last month and saw Mickey in his 'farmers' outfit - very cute and I think that if you like the menu it would be a better choice for the ages of your kids than Le Cellier.
I see you're doing CRT lunch and then 4:30 fantasmic dinner package - unless you're doing first lunch seating that seems very close for meals for my gang - did you know that they usually open up later times for fantasmic dinners closer to the date? I know I have seen many posts about it.
Can't wait until my DGrD is old enough for the Tea - let us know how you like it - You're going to have a fun and busy week ! - Enjoy! :smooth:

Thanks..yes I did know they open up later reservations. I heard around 30 days prior. I am also calling daily to check on CRT breakfast cancellations for that day so the meals won't be so close.
Can't wait for the princess tea DD will have a once in a lifetime experience from all the review I read.
I will stick w/Garden Grill as it sounds better for the kis=ds

Hope you have a great trip!

You may want to consider doing a meal at the Crystal Palace being this is your first trip and the ages of your children.
Good idea to rest day of party!

Are you on the Dining Plan? We're going the same time, and do have the dining plan, if that's the case, I didnt think the Rainforest was on the Dining Plan - but we ate there last year and DD8 LOVED it!! Its a fun time... its Disney, there it is!! :Pinkbounc

oh and :wizard: for an opening at CRT for breakfast - make sure you watch the resteraunt board, often someone posts there about a cancellation!! We couldnt get in last year, our first trip, we got it for this Oct, and I feel shocked and amazed!!

No, we are not on the dining plan. Any comments on Rainforest??
Alot of meals are character so I thought this might be a change!

I really enjoy the Rainforest Cafe. I'm probably not going there on my upcoming trip only bc we do have the dining plan and that is not on the list. but the food is good and the atmosphere is really cool.

I'm sure you can find a menu of Rainforest online - I'm pretty sure they have the same menu and prices for lunch and dinner! I read a review where someone loved thier crabcakes, I hated them!! LOL, so to each his own! AK doesnt have any other choices for a nice sit down restaurant, and I love they have dim lighting, great a/c, and dd loves the fish, and gorillas hanging around!!

I made reservations last year before we went, didnt have to wait in line at all!!
