So where have you all been all afternoon?
I started a long overdue cleaning/organizing of a certain cupboard with old and current "paperwork" in it. If I can get that done then I can eliminate the little "pile" on the countertop and keep both places neater. I did some hand washing that has been waiting since my vacation . I washed and ironed the comforter cover for DD's down comforter (Xmas gift). I made chili. I paid bills. I watched bits and peices of the Daytona 500 in between. DH has been painting DD's room. She's been gone since 1 o'clock working on a Spanish project that involves videotaping skits...I guess I'm glad they are not doing that here

Tomorrow she has school while DH and I are off!! I love days like that Picking up my car in the afternoon!

Hi guys - just sitting here watching the snow falling outside, and moaning and groaning about it.

I had about 6 loads of laundry to do, and started around 11:30 or so. That in itself is bad enough, but the basement has an OUTSIDE (storm cellar) door. I would put a load in, close the door, and by the time it was ready to put stuff in the dryer, the door would be covered, and I had to search for the handle!

We might be getting over 2 feet of snow by Monday! I went shopping before the weekend, so that's not a problem, but I hope nothing happens with the power. We had a power outage on Christmas Day - ugh!

How's everyone else doing in this storm?

We're forecast for snow "showers tomorrow afternoon, and accumulations into the night dependign on the track of the storm. SIGH.......guess the top (of the CAR) won't be coming down tomorrow.

we are looking at sierra 4x4 with an extended cab and AC....this stupid truck we have now has NO ......can you believe that NO AC....so I told him....new truck.....has to have AC.....or else I will be an unhappy camper.......I made family night dinner.....lasagna and garlic bread and tossed salad and then strawberry short cake with real whipping cream......none of that cool whip today.......want the real mccoy.......hope you are all safe and warm and lets all blow the snow down south.......night

Hello! Semi-slacker poster reporting in. Trying desperately to find a way to be there in June ( if ya'll want me there, that is. ). Have a tentative ressie but am in the process of probably tring to find a new job so.... Kevin said he was getting us AP's and we (or I ) could always drive if need be so hopefully.
It is literally a frozen mes here. We have ice everywhere, very slippery. I about fell and busted mysef up good today which would have been tons of fun on top of the bronchiti I somehow managed to get and the nueritis in my shoulder. The good newis thanks to nurse Mom who hapens to know the nuerologist they're seding me to, my appointment is now this Tuesday instead of having to wiat ntil April.
Well, my meds are kicking in so I'm outta here Ya'll have a great night!

Well, maybe for you, but NOT if you're planning to pick up a convertible today Sheesh! Was thinking maybe if it is not actually snowing I should put the top down and wear one of those full face ski masks with goggles hehehehe They are forecasting 12-15 inches for us before tomorrow morning.

Shellie-good thing to have Saint Pooh-Pooh on your side and I'm glad you didn't fall! I had an e-mail from a former co-worker of mine in Louisville yesterday, she said it was anawful mess of ice!

DD has school today.....so DH and I are going to go back to bed and get a little....more sleep Talk to you later

BTW----DH is telling me to book 4 nights beginning 6/20 and worry about airfare later !!

OK, a .little nap this morning

then went to pick up the car which is snug in the garage now my it looks good!!...somehow on a thread I did about the car this morning I posted the actual picture, nice and big, instead of the link...don't know how I did it but it does look good

FYI our friend SSB is home with a "back attack" for a couple of days...so sending him some back-healing PD....maybe Shellie can share some good remedies or pain killers...........

BTW, happy President's Day. The snow has really just begun to "stick" here.........DD has her cell phone off (makes me SO mad when she does that!!) and was supposed to go to a NHS committee meeting the next town over after school and I am getting antsy not knowing if she is there on the road, or WHAT.

Stinking back schmack attack....

Came back with a FURY the end of last week, getting worse every day... to the point that this morning took me an hour to get out of bed... not a good thing. The most excruciating part is that if I try to drive, within a mile in screaming (about literally) pain, and my right foot is numb with pain, and I can't bear it. Tried to drive a short distance this AM for supplies after staying home from work, and had to do a U-Turn on the highway (illegally) as could not bear the pain.

My doctor is referring SSB to a NEUROSURGEON ... so supposed to call for an apointment in the morning. Hoping won't be too long, or that some relief comes before that, as just not sure how I am going to function without being able to drive... ack!

Ok, enough of my belly aching... haha!

Hello, everyone. Let's see if I can spell a bit better today as I haven't taken my meds yet. I just read my post from last night and it looked like a 5 year old typed it. (those meds must be better than I realized.)
SSB- I have a whole pharmacy of different types of meds if ya need anything, just holler, I'll be happy to share!

SSB's Doc pretty stingy... gives any meds in tiny amounts, and so each time I still have to pay my full deductable, just more often.. ack!!!
