Do any of you have atificial Christmas trees?

We actually have FOUR!!! plus two ceramic trees that I made years ago....I used to love a blue spruce, but would cough and cough all season..then when Savannah started coughing all season too, we knew the real had to go....

Happy bargain day
   Have fun...Me, personally...I can not think of any bargain that would drive me out in these crowds....YUCK!!! I did want that snow globie though....Oh well.

Off to work for me...

Everyone have a great day!!!

uuuuugggghh...........it's only 9 am and I've been up and out 3 hours, but really don't have a lot to show for it. Glad I live so close to our big retail district. I got to Penney's at 6:20, got my globe.....then they gave me another when I came back in though another door after going out with some packages and back in to the Mall to other stores, then into Penney's again through the Mall entrance to go through back to may car. I wouldn't have taken it except there was no one entering at all with me and the perky lady handed it right to me "here's your snow globe!" Course bad NHAnn, didn't say "oh no thank-you, I already got one". ;)

Checked out the fake trees at Michael's Craft store and was not impressed. The only one I would even consider was the $229 one  Maybe I'll try Target later. Or maybe get real one more year, and go the day after Xmas and see if I can get one 50% off.

May go back out later after DD gets picked up by her father. Then again, maybe I'll take a nap. ;)

Gooooooooood morning people. I woke up to my house being a COLD 52 degrees inside. Brrrrrrr. My 2 cats were hogging the bed.

No shopping here, I can not stand crazy crowds like that. I slept in and now an packing. I am heading for Orlando, go to Universal for Grinchmas at Islands of Adventure.

You all have a great weekend! :)

Foolishly, SSB braved the crowds this morning.... blech! What a bad scene .... ack!!!

Hope the "Target" trip went better, than SSB's "Best Buy" one... HAHA!!

:)

Back for more "Sopranos", safer than out "there"! :)

I told you so, I told you so :p :teeth:

Course bad NHAnn, didn't say "oh no thank-you, I already got one".
neither did bad MADebbie :teeth: In fact, i got 3 cuz Jerry got one too :)
well I rushed to Sears to a great deal on these tool boxes...you know the 3 that stack on top of each other....and I got mine and paid for it. Then we told the guy we had shopping to do and would be back to pick up later...didn't want to leave it in back of the truck.
We come back at 11a.m. to pick it up, they're SOLD OUT. I tell them
"NO I bought mine at 7 this morning and they were in stock." Well turns out they didn't pull it from stock and they re-sold MINE  I got out of bed for this  you know

So They then offered to order one, said it would be in on Wednesday and gave me another 10% off .....fine thats another $28 off....I can live with that :) He redoes the paper work and I only get $13 back. I question this and I'm told its cuz they can't re-enter my $15 coupon....this is where I got annoyd and it SHOWED  with a long line waiting.....I GOT OUT OF BED THIS MORNING TO GET MY TOOL BOX WITH THE SALE AND THE COUPON AND YOU RESELL IT AND TELL ME I CAN'T HAVE MY COUPON
" let me try" again he says
Suddenly my coupon worked  :)

I'm usually a very calm customer but I GOT OUT OF BED for this ;)

hehehe The customer is ALWAYS right! ;)

Target was really not too bad........but their fake trees were horrible.
Finished the stocking stuffers for DD and niece and then to make it worth the trip I got a few things for my mom...(socks and underwear.....yikes, what goes around comes around I guess, getting my mom that stuff for Xmas ...I don't know whether to laugh or cry....the nursing home either loses them or washes them in boiling water  :( )

Then I ate lunch and decided to head north on 93 about 20 miles to the Tilton Factory Outlet Mall.....it started to snow on the way which got me in the spirit a little more.... they have Carter's and OshKosh there...fun looking at stuff for Avery and Mady.....and the BigDogs Store....that place makes me laugh! OshKosh had the antler headbands...but only for LITTLE girls.....that made me LOL though hehehehe. A Xmas shop there had a really nice fake tree and everything was 50% off...I was psyched till I saw the original price of $350 YIKES...no way........

Have a great time :)

I do internet shop too Teri...some...not all

Good evening, everyone! :) Happy Thanksgiving to all, Happy Channukah to some ;) I'm very thankful for each of you, and I understood Ann perfectly (guess there's a first for everything! ;) )

Of course I picked the COLDEST days of the year to be standing outside for hours...we saw the balloons being blown up for the parade Wednesday night...it was SO COLD, even though we were walking around. Then came Thanksgiving morning, and we headed out to wait for the parade to start - again, SO COLD. We only saw about 30 minutes of the parade, then gave up and walked back to our hotel, and I realized that my boss' office faces Broadway, even though we're on Seventh Avenue, so we trooped up there, and sat on the heating vents in the window and saw PERFECTLY. *sigh* Next year, I'll have this planned a little better, I'm sure. No frostbite!!! ;)

Then, of course, this morning, I was persuaded to get up wayyy before the crack of dawn (my phone rang at 3:00) to go shopping. I could've done everything in one store, if only I'd had the flyers from all the other stores, since KMart does price matching, and they were open at 5:00. We actually tried to go over to Walmart, but at 5 minutes to 6, the ENTIRE parking lot was full, and the line was tremendous! There was nothing earth-stopping that I wanted there, so off we went with our flyer to another store to get them to match those prices. Worked pretty well. After this past three days, I was BEAT - I ended up lying in my bed, feeling like roadkill. :p

Only 5 more days to go for me - I have to start thinking about packing!

Hello! I managed to get Kevin out of the house a little before 6 to go shop, poor guy had been up all night but since it was his family I was looking for stuff forI decided he should help shop. (That and he could carry the packages then so as not to aggravate my shoulder.) Got our snowglobes and did some shopping in Penny's then he was ready tocome home but I still dragged him to Target. He ended up being glad b/c we found some great deals and got his ant, ucle, and brother taken care of and found some really pretty urns to use for flowers for our porch.
Now, I'm off to get some sleep and try out my present (I had to get myself something too, ya know;) :p ). I got a down throw to keep me warm while "napping" on the couch which I'm off to do now until time to pick Kevin up from work in a few hours. Godnight ya'll and stay warm!

you know many of us were probably all in JCPenney's at the same time :) holding a mickey globe :teeth:

but not the same Penney's :(
guess thats as close as we're all going to get for now

Gail sounds like the REST of the parade must have been very nice, once you found your WARM viewing spot....but you should have told me I was trying to spot you in the crowd ;) :teeth:
Get rested now for your trip to WDW!!

Yep, Debbie, I could FEEL the magic clutching my globbies. :)

YIKES, Channuka is early this year, isn't it ?!!? Happy Channuka to those celebrating :)

Gail, the very best Thanksgiving I ever had was a few years ago when we spent the weekend in NYC in an apt owned by the company my sister works for...on CPW between 63rd and 64th. 3rd floor (perfect "float level") with a living room window seat overlooking the street. Soooooooooo awesome to drink mimosas and watch the parade all cozy and warm. Truly the best, seeing how the other half lives. Except maybe 1988 when I spent it in Ireland having a medeival dinner in Bunratty Castle. That was cool too........but naah, in NYC was the best. :) Maybe we should have a c/l meet in your bosses office next Thanksgiving !?!hehehehehe

I'm heading to visit my parents today...gotta head out early so as to avoid running into a certain sister. Literally. hehehehe

Have a safe trip, Ann...

WOW!!! It appears that I am the only non after Thanksgiving Day shopper....Am I missing something....

Shellie - Got the PM!!!! You are the greatest!!! Thanks!!!:D

Macy's Day parade....I wanted to go to that so much when we lived in Connecticut....One year we almost did, but then the Stones came to Florida, so off we went...and watch tons of snow fall from Florida...I was so mad!!!hehehe I think that was in 1989...

I will not be a DISCON, but I am trying to talk George into driving down next Saturday just for the day.....We shall see....

Well, all you super shoppers have a nice restful day!!!!I know that you must be tired....The hospital was so quiet yesterday. No one went to work, I guess.

Everyone keep warm!!!
