well, we began our christmas shopping this weekend...one person down!! we are slowly bringing out our decorations too. i think the tree will go up next weekend, unless i get impatient and decide to put it up after work one night this week!

i got the official "you're obsessed over these boards" intervention a few nights ago...so i'll mostly be online during the day when i'm at work...and maybe sneak in a few visits here and there...

my hand feels incredibly naked right now...we had to take my wedding rings in to be resized...they are just too small. so i'll be without me precious set for about a week.

you guys are having entirely too much fun the past few nights...

watched 3 pretty good movies over the weekend...we rented "the sum of all fears, divine secrets of the ya ya sisterhood, and spiderman". all three were pretty good actually. i LOVED the ya ya movie...matthew just shook his head and said that he can see "his" life in about 40 years in the opening scenes...i cracked up over the beating the phone on the counter thing...that was funny...

ok...better go before i get the dirty looks!! (he's not really cranky about it...just doesn't like to be ignored! plus charmed is on!) have a good night cheerleaders!!!

Yes, I too am slowly learning that lesson--finally.

So...great day here. Went to see my friend in the hospital (remember I told you guys about her in September?? She's still there) and she might be discharged tomorrow. She still can't really walk (needs a walker for even a few steps) and still has a gaping wound in her abdomen, but, hopefully with home health, will continue to improve. A lot of problems speaking (from the stroke) and memory problems, but, better than she was.

And since it was a beautiful day here ( 74 and sunny till the tornadoes and hail and rain, etc hit this evening), it was a great day to have the top down on the car and meet ... mmm .... a...ummmm..a friend --yeh, that's it , a friend , at the park. Of course, now the inside of my car needs to have the leaves raked (it was windy all day--rather like Pooh's Blustery Day). Nevertheless, it was a very nice day.
