Yea!! DS made a friend!

It's about time!! DS made friends with a boy in the neighborhood today. I saw this boy riding his bike around the neighborhood when I went to pick up DS from day care. He was still out there when we got home. I told DS he should go introduce himself to the boy. Just take his bike and go do it! I told him not to come home until he knew the boy's name! He came in a little while later and asked if he could go riding with "Steven." Yup, not a problem! Woooooo hooooooo!! (We've been here just about 6 months now, and this is a first friend.)

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! I'm glad he's finally met a kid to keep him busy!

Yeah, so happy to hear that he had made a friend, and someone that lives near you. Maybe in a couple of months, you will hear your son ask if Steven can sleep over .

He certainly is the shy type. I'm sure it took a lot for him to go do it, but he did say that Steven introduced himself first. Made it easy on DS.
