We woke up in what seemed like a dream world. We skipped the lounge for breakfast because we had booked a character breakfast with Spiderman, Captain America, the Grinch and the Cat in the Hat at Confisco's Grill in IOA. This was a very good breakfast and the character interaction extremely good. I'd do this breakfast again and it was great getting individual attention from Spiderman. The Grinch was very funny. The meal was good also. After breakfast we did our usual split and Kate and Evan went their way for the big rides. Andrew and I walked around the park and played several games. There was a fishing game for young children that he particularly liked and didn't even care about the prizes. Of course he won the small prize but wanted to continue to fish. The nice lady running the booth told me to just let him play and didn't ask for any more money to continue. When he finally landed the fish by himself she gave him a nice SpongBob plushy. This was really kind, she certainly didn't have to do that. We went on and played the water games and won a few more prizes and continued around the park. Andrew didn't really want to do anything. I tried to get him to ride on the Caro-Seus-el and he wouldn't do it even though he had been eager to ride Cinderella's Golden Carousel. We just walked and looked and stopped to have our fortune told in the Lost Continent. I was told that I have to be in control. (What? Me?) I laughed about my fortune most of the day. It was dead on. I was also told Andrew was a lot like me. No kidding. We were heading out of the park when I heard the siren go off and they announced that the Marvel Heros would be riding through any moment. We turned around and sure enough here they come right by us. Spiderman again on his four-wheeler along with Wolverine and several other characters. Andrew stopped and got a Spiderman pin along with a Hulk pin and we were going back to the hotel. That afternoon Andrew wanted to go swimming so he headed for the cabana. This afternoon we had The Yellow Submarine Cabana. Andrew likes it but Evan thinks it's embarrassing. I guess his generation isn't in to the Beatles too much. Andrew played in the kiddie pool which he loved and I had a real hard time trying to get him back to the cabana. I was afraid he was getting too much sun. We coaxed him back with an order of mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers, and french fries from the Beach Club. We went up later and placed a call to Daddy in Mexico. The teens decided to have dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe which they enjoyed and Andrew and I decided to order room service for dinner. The teens hit Universal and loved the Mummy Ride!! We watched TV and ate dinner. About this time the door bell rang. They were bringing more goodies. Snacks, sodas, bottled water. We also walked down to the lounge and got a few snacks. Really good large homemade type cookies and also oreos. I also picked up a couple glasses of wine earlier in the lounge. We were just settling down in the bedroom watching our plasma TV when Andrew got this funny look on his face. Yes Mama too much sun!! He started throwing up all over himself, the bed and his blanket. His blanket goes everywhere with him. Linus, Jr. He starts crying uncontrollably and I scoop up his blanket which was over him and catch as much of the throw up in the blanket as I can. Then I clean him up (poor thing was shivering the whole time) and put him in the tub. Just then I here Evan and Kate come in and I yell for help. Evan (the blessed brother that he is) immediately starts helping with Andrew, cleaning him up in the tub and I clean up everything else. I call down to the concierge and they send up housekeeping. I had wash most things out by now and cleaned things up best I could. Housekeeping took the sheets and mattress pad off of the bed and re-made the bed, the whole time while I'm apologizing like crazy. It was 11:00 pm and they're in my room cleaning up barf. By now Evan has Andrew straight and he asks the housekeepers where a washer and dryer is. They direct him and he takes Andrew's blanket out to wash. (I told you he was a special brother) I calm Andrew down and he seems to be better but wants his blanket. I tip each of the housekeepers (there were two) $10 a piece. They thank me and again I apologize. Before long Evan appears with a freshly cleaned blanket and Andrew hugs it and says "Gwatney".. I don't know why this is what he calls his blanket...it just is and this is what he still calls it. He snuggles down back in the bed and goes to sleep. I guess he had just had too much food, fun and sun that day. He wasn't sunburned or anything but I think it had been so hot that day that it had all just been a little too much. Thank God for older brothers who help out. He looked so sweet lying there asleep after he had just had half a dozen people in a tizzy. Three year olds....gotta love 'em.

Bless his heart!! And yours, too... hope he was all better by morning!
