Ok...I could only get a reservation for the Yacht Club for the time I want to go. I have 4 adult, family members coming with me. The CM told me that I would be fine with the daybed in the room. Anyone had any experiences with the daybed?

THANKS!

My 5 ft. 11 in. son slept on one last year. He didn't complain about being cramped or stiff the next morning. He slept on it for 5 nights.

Technically you will fit 5 adults in the YC rooms, but in my opinion it will be tight. The rooms are not that big and having only one bathroom might be a problem. It of course depends on you personally, but I wouldn't do it.

We stayed at the YC with 5 adults. Mom, Dad and 3 grown kids. One of the kids was a guy 6'1" who slept on the daybed and never complained once.

Close quarters? Yes, but it didn't bother us in the least and we wouldn't have a problem doing it again. It really depends on you and your group. If "togetherness" isn't a problem, it will be fine. If everyone likes their space and privacy, you might want to think twice about it.

The YC is my favorite resort, but you are going to be paying $75 plus tax in extra adult charges. I'm not sure I would do that. Have you considered two moderate rooms. Or, if your going at a time with discounts, you could probably do two roms at WL or AKL for about the same $.

The daybed BTW is fine for an adult. My 6' tall son has stayed on it two trips.
