YC Laundry ??

Does anyone know what floor the laundry facilities are at
@ the YC? Do they take quarters, bills, or ? Is there a change
machine? do they have varying cycles (size of load, gentle
cycle, etc.) I'm asking cuz we will be on vacation 11 days
plus 2 travel days, and if we could pack for half the days,
and do laundry halfway, that would sure save a lot of space
in our luggage for prizes to bring home! 45 days and a
"wake up" to go!

it looks like the laundry is on the first floor, I think I remeber seeing it near pool area....I know they are regular maytag type machines..and I am sure they have changemachine, ifnot I am sure guest services can help.I have never usedd YC one...I did use the CBR and they were maytag like!!
and youcan get laundry soap across at the grocery store on the Boardwalk

The main laundry is next to the small pool. I usually put in the laundry, then go sit the hot tub nearby. Not a bad life!

It costs $2 to wash and $2 to dry. There is a change machine there, but you can also get change at the YC front desk. Detergent is $1 a load, so I always bring tablets (if I can find them) or premeasured powder in Ziploc bags.

Here's a tip in case you find the laundry crowded: there is a second much smaller one in the main building on the first floor across from one of the elevators. The front desk can give you a map that shows where it is. Since almost no one knows about it, there's rarely anyone using it. Last trip, our room was on fourth floor directly above it, so I used that one and went back to the room while things were washing/drying.

I LOVE the YC and can't wait until we can make it back.
