YC Concierge Keys

Do they still send the concierge keys in advance? I read they used to do this, or do you now just tell the bell person you are staying on the concierge level?

We just told the bell person, who then escorted us to the elevator and gave us a temporary key so we could access the 5th floor.

We did not get our keys in advance for our Sept stay. They gave them to us when we checked in.

I was mailed a temp. concierge key for our May 02 trip. I wonder if this changed after they refurbished the YC Concierge this past summer???

Yes it has changed.
I asked about this as I didn't receive one for our August 2002 trip. I was told that it wasn't cost effective for them to keep sending them out.
