Is it worth it to spend the extra for a water view at the YC/BC? I figure it's about a $230 difference for our stay. Whatcha think?

if this is the lagoon view - yes it is worth it.

if the main swmming pool probably.

either of the quiet pools - forget it - definitely not worth it.

If you're facing the main pool (sab) aren't you facing the lagoon?

well the BC's quiet pool also faces the lagoon. but not all the rooms that can see the pool get a good view of the lagoon.

you want a good view of the lagoon - okay I do!

I thought that a view of the YC's quiet pool is now considered a standard view. Is this true?

We stayed in a std view room at YC in June. View was of the Wedding gazebo, absolutely beautiful. I'm so glad that I did not pay extra for the water view, can't see it when I'm sleeping anyway!:flower1:

I certainly hope that's true ~ it's not really a 'water view'. At BWI the view of the quiet pool is 'standard' so I don't think that view at YC should ever have been considered *water*. It's definitely not worth paying for waterview to have that one when, for the same price, you can look out over the lagoon.

We stayed at the YC last August in a std. view room and looked out at the quiet pool. It was nice for a std. view IMO. :)

We booked a regular view at YC and received a free upgrade to a water view. Our view was of the quiet pool. It was nice, but I would have been disappointed had I paid extra for that view.
