Returned 4/20 from a week at WDW. Stayed at AKl (suite), went to sunrise safari (great) and enjoyed the concierge. But once is enough. The location of this resort is just too far from MK, Epcot, MGM, etc.We had rented a car and the location was still a factor.
Loved YC and will return again next May. They are refurbishing the concierge kitchen area in August, a concierge CM told me. A section of the 5th floor will be closed and the concierge staff will be reduced for the 2-3 weeks in August the refurbishment is supposed to take.
A word of advice concerning expectations and "magic". My grandchildren provide the "magic". You get what you pay for at WDW as well as every other place on the planet.
Also, went to Emiril's restaurant at Universal. Outstanding food and service. No place at WDW can touch it. Janetd
