the school holidays are OVER

the little darlings are bathed and ready for an early night ;) and peace will resume in the longstaff house tomorrow :rotfl:

LOL; never seen anyone happy for the holidays to be over before. :)

My sister goes back on the 2nd (I think), and I go back on the 7th as I am special. :)

My three start back on the 6th - so still a week left yet! I must admit, I'm not sure if I prefer the holidays or term time - the amount of fixtures, activities and after-school clubs during term time are even more hectic than during the holiday!

I most be one of the only mothers who hate when the school holidays are over
back to school making lunches and trying to get them to do homework :rotfl2:

wish the summer was only starting :wizard:

mind are back on Friday

DW had to go into school today for prep. work - don't think she's to pleased that the schools are back tomorrow LOL

No Jackie you're not alone, I love having the girls off school too. I like it when there is no homework, after school clubs or early mornings. And I wish it was the start of the hols too, cos I'd be going away soon :sad2:

:wizard: :wizard: Good Luck to all the kids that are going back to school soon, my two are back next week

My daughter starts back to college on the 6th September, but she has been home since her exams finished the end of June, and it has been great having her home, it will be really strange when she goes back. :goodvibes

Hope all the kids who are starting back to school or college in the next few days and weeks have a great new term :thumbsup2

Trouble is now, is that all the roads will be blocked by all those children that seem to drive 4x4s. :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Yeap, alot more queueing as all of those 4x4's seem to use the m62 to get to school!

Ours have been back since 22nd August so they are now in full flow with homework, clubs etc :)

My dd goes back on monday, she can't wait to go back and see all her friends :) I think the 6 weeks has flown by.

I start back in work on Monday, our children start back on Tuesday. DS does not start back until the 11th though, because they stagger the Nursery children's return. Hope my poor DM and DD are ready for a week of DS! pirate:

l'm the same, i'd much rather have the boys at home than in school. Things just arent as hectic when they are at home. Mine go back next Tuesday and my baby is starting Junior school :sad2: . We went to get shoes on Saturday for school and they are now both in adult sizes, oh l feel old :guilty:
