I love Southwest!
Yesterday at lunch I was "dinged" and decided to buy the "on sale" part of my ticket (going there). Sooo I purchased a one way ticket for $57.70 (ISP to MCO). Today I checked my email and they are having a "Florida sale" so I cancelled yesterday's ticket (at no charge) and rebooked it at the new fare. I saved $20! Yay! And my trip home will most likely be free because I have a free ticket.
I know it could be a free round trip but I think it is so much better to split it up because instead of not paying for a "cheaper" flight, I can spend the $57 and save the free one way ticket for when I go somewhere not so cheap. It makes two trips half price.
