I was thinking it might be fun to do one of those dinner show type things one night.
What are Mediveal Times/Wild Bills/Merlin's Magic like? Any others? Are they worth they money?

i'd say yes, try it only IF you never have. it's a fun experience but only for the first time.

that would depend on what you like better....cowboys? days of zena & hercules (my fave)? or magicians.

if you have bad allergies, skip medieval times. the horses kick up alot of dust in the air. i remember sneezing constantly. the turkey leg was good though!

Actually not overly thrilled with any of it. LOL> YEs...very very bad hayfever.....so lets skip that. Well maybe it will be something to do on a whim while there if we decide to! Thanks.

I remember we did Mideval Times (in Florida) when I was younger. I'd say I was about 9 or 10....HATED IT! Didn't understand what was going on, I didn't like ANY of the food and it was too loud.

i guess if you want to go to a "fun" place for dinner, go to "ed debevic's" in beverly hills. it's a 50's style sit-down restaurant, some wait staff are on roller skates, they perform YMCA or hand-jive thing somewhere in the middle of your meal. who knows, you might see a celeb or two.

Wild Bills is no longer open and is turing into some sort of Pirate show (not open yet). I love Medieval Times.

They closed Ed deBevic's :( My friend's and I used to love going there and haven't been in about 2 years. A good friend said they went down a couple of months ago, but it was all closed up!

ETA: I tried to call the number to see if maybe they were just temporarily closed, but what's listed as their phone number is just a fax.

oops! sorry i didn't know about ed's....goes to show just how much i eat out with toddlers!

Well guess I am SOL! A pirate show sounds neat though..... they are probably revamping to try and draw the crowds back once the 50th is on.
