YAY- My DD13 brought up her math grade!!!

Congrats to my DD13, she just a 90 on her math test following the 100 she got on a quiz last week, we're both extremely excited! Grades close today, and this past term she got a 77 on a quiz and failed her two tests so this is a pretty big deal. She's in eighth grade and is taking ninth grade Algebra 1 so she's learning stuff I can't even remember how to do and was having a hard time with it (it doesn't help that she's in a class of over 30), but once she started staying after school to get a little extra help we saw a big improvement.

I'm just so happy I had to share!

CONGRATS !! What a relief that must be for you and her.
My DD10 is still sportin a 68 in Math. We are working hard to bring it up by the end of the school year !!!!!!! I am very stressed about this !!

Yeah for her!

My dd is doing pre-algebra this year and we are getting ready for algebra next year. Very scary stuff!

Thanks everyone, 75 isn't much to be proud of in other classes but in this case it is! She's normally quite good at math, on standardized tests (NWEA) she's in 96th percentile, but this year has been tough.

I will give her a big pat on the back!
