Yay! Just bought my AP!!

Soooooooooo excited!

I just bought the AP's for our November DL trip! (Soon to be followed by our January trip, and February, and March...j/k)

I can't wait to get it, so I can register online and get our hotel rooms booked! We've decided to do 2 days at DLH, and 2 at GCH.

I think I'm gonna start keeping a trip planning diary, and break it down by numbers for people that want to see how much a "dream" DL trip costs.

(We wanna do this right, since it's our first together!)

Did you buy them online through disneyland.com?

There have been some people who can log in online using a voucher or temp card from the disney store, but others have to wait until they get the actual AP (with picture on it and everything) before they have the actual number of the AP, which is what you need to create the AP online account.

But you can book the room before having the AP in your hand...can't get the AP rate by booking online anyway, ya gotta call.

Yeah, I just bought them online, and I'll be getting them in the mail within 10 days...(I think it will be pretty quick, since I'm in AZ.)

Anywhoo, I looked online, and it looks like the DL website now has a section just for AP'ers where you CAN book the special AP rates!

As soon as I get my pass, I'll let you know if there's a difference between the online AP rate, and calling the hotels directly.

(I'm always looking for the best deal, so I've been scouring this board for tips!)

Make sure to call the reservation desk to check prices. I know that when we went in May, the calendar showed prices higher than we were quoted. Check to see if there are any AP codes available. It was AP6 when we went. They said that the rates are listed on the calendar, but they were around $50-100 higher than we got.

Thanks Splash....I will definitely call the hotel...I had a feeling that would be my best bet for the best rate!

Nun69...just go for it....I did the math, and the extra expense of AP's is recouped rather quickly between dining and room discounts!

(Not to mention....you've got a pass for TONS of DL trips!)

Oh, I have an AP.

When I go to the hotel availability section in the AP section it states "Reserve Your Room Now Call us at (714) 520-5006† from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. PST daily to reserve your room."

Just looked in the booking area, and there's no place to put a code or anything...

There might be something hiding, but I can't find a place to book AP rates (there's nothing special right now, and it only goes into September) online. Would love to know if others have found it, though!

Very lucky!! I just brought up this subject to my DH last night...he didn't jump on it and instead said that there are other places to visit! WHAT???
