She was on the Wonder (not sure what time frame) but there was a great picture of her dressed for the Lion King portion of Disney Dreams that I can not find right now, but am still looking for it...

Hubby and I thought it was funny that she picked that song. We knew she would be able to pull it off amazingly as she performed it 4 times a week (twice on the three night, twice on the four night sailing) plus rehersals.

We have liked her from the begining, we always think she sings very good (but apparently not enough people are voting for her since she keeps ending up in the bottom 3).

Amazing performance... She is a star

Couldn't agree more about the diva but last night she outdid herself! Great job! I'd be surprised to see her in the bottom three tonight, but stranger things have happened. I'm still perplexed as to why John, Jon and Camille are still around.

I have to agree. Up until last night I didn't care for her singing either but I have to say that last night was her best performance and the best of the night. Now all she has to do is fine tune the "tude"!

Congratulations Jennifer!

I was so so happy for her and she did a great job. Was she the one who sang it on the Wonder? I remebered her from Hercules, but didn't think she sang that song in Disney Dreams.

I am so happy for her.

I maybe mistaken, but DH and I think she is on the newest DCL video! We just got it last week and while watching the part about the shows on board, I said, "Hey! Isn't that Jennifer Hudson?" and his comment was "Yeah, I think so!" I'll have to go back and watch it again in slow-mo. Just FWIW. She was amazing last night though. We even said, "I wonder why she picked THAT song!"

I wonder how much of Jennifer's perceived "attitude" is nerves. She does some funny twitching sometimes when she's singing, and the bug eyed thing is a little strange too. None of this last night, she was VERY comfortable singing that song. She strikes me as someone whose every emotion shows on their face. I'm sure all of the singers who end up in the bottom three are upset, but they manage not to show it. It may be Jennifer's downfall, but she surely is talented. She can always go back to Disney and be a star! Maybe they will cast her in one of their Broadway shows! Diana

Jennifer may have done a good job last night but I still can't get past her "attitude" both times when she was in the bottom three. An american idol has to have it all not just the voice...you have to like the person too. She can sing but I don't care for her much as an entertainer. Both her and Fantasia need to check their attitudes. They need to take a lesson or two from classy and talented LaToya!

I have to say that I am surprised Red Head John was not in the bottom 3 last night!! I like him and he is obviously well brought up, but man his singing has been awful!! When he is singing his style of music (rat-pack type stuff) he is great, but anything else - not so good. I don't think his voice has any power and on Tuesday it even cracked a few times.

I think he will be gone next week unless he gives a huge performance. I do agree that Camille was pretty bad too. I couldn't understand why she was singing that song in such a deep voice? It sounded weird to me. When Camille and the other girl from Hawaii (can't remember her name right now) re-sang their songs last night, it was pretty obvious which one deserved to stay!

I'm also surprised that John wasn't in the bottom three, and I think that no one was more surprised then he was. Did you see his face last week, he was absolutely certain that he was going to be the one to leave.

He has a great voice, it's just very genre-specific. He hasn't yet learned how to branch out, and frankly I'm not sure that it's something he'll be able to do. But when singing in his genre, he's probably unbeatable. He's a crooner, no doubt about it.

I worked as a concert manager for 10+ years, so I have a pretty good background with this

DutchsMommy...I totally agree with who you said should have been in the bottom three last night!!!

I think that Jennifer is nervous and do not see that she has a bad attitude! I find it hard to smile when I am nervous. Can you imagine how she and every other contestant must feel. Some just handle it better!
