There are some really good minature golf courses in the neighborhood. Definitely great shopping and restaurants. Just about every type of food you can possibly want can be found.
Be sure to pick up a couple of local menu, coupon, attraction books at the local grocery stores. I know Piggly Wiggly near the resort has a huge selection out front of the store.
It might be a little cool for the ocean but the beach is fun, to ride bikes on. If any are into horseback riding you can do that also. Dolphin tours are a must.
Definitely go to Salty Dog at Sea Pines, great food and fun merchandise. You would not believe the coversations I have had with total strangers when wearing my sweatshirt.
Old Oyster Factory is a good place to eat. Across the marsh from the resort and if you get a window table you can see the resort while dining.
In Savannah I recommend the trolly tour is a good start to show you the highlights.
We are really into lighthouses, so we visited the one at Sea Pines and the one at Tybee Island.
You will have a fabulous time, it is a very special place.
