I'd read about moleskin in the Unofficial Guide, so I bought a roll and brought it with us on our recent trip (Dec 8-16). DW had bought new shoes a couple of weeks before we went, and they were mostly comfortable for her, but they rubbed her little toes a bit. By the end of the second day, her little toes were bright red and in agony, and I was starting to really worry about blisters.
So we tried the moleskin, and it did the trick! She was able to keep going for the rest of the vacation, and just one day after being back home her feet were looking normal again.
I just wanted to post this for anyone who may find themselves in the same position as us. Try moleskin; it works!
