Yay for long weekends!

I have two long weekends in a row coming up!!

BF and I had taken off this friday, the 23rd. The publishing industry has 1/2 day fridays , so taking off Friday means only using 1/2 a vacation day.

Next week is the DNC. Because of the incredible disruptions to our city, our company has decided to close on the 30th and also to give each employee a comp day to take off during the week. We opted to take off the 26th.

Sooooo....

This weekend coming up I have off Fri-Mon, and then the week following I have off Fri, Sat and Sun. Wooohoooo!

Anyone else have a long weekend coming up?

Long weekend for me! I am going to a family reunion in MN with my mother (no DH, no kids, hotel with a hot tub, aunt with a sailboat). I leave Thursday and return Tuesday.

Esmerelda - we are coming to Boston on the 31st to spend Sat night and see Mama Mia on Sunday. Do you think the city will still be a mess?

Starting Saturday I have a very loooooong weekend coming up...2 weeks worth of weekend to be precise! YIPEEEEEEE!!!!!

I think it should be okay on the 31st. From what I hear, the streets should be reopened by then. I hope so, because I'm spending all day on the 31st helping friends move out of Boston!

I've heard great reviews of that show!! I hope you have a great time!!!

Did you decide where you were going to go this weekend? I remember you saying you were thinking about Lost River, but were afraid they didn't allow dogs.

I have a long weekend coming up! I took off this Friday and next Monday. It's my birthday weekend, so I'm going camping Fri and Sat and then having a pool party/bbq on Sunday (not for my birthday, just for fun ). I took Monday off just because.

We are actually going to go to The Conway NH railroad on Monday. Monty is allowed!!! http://www.conwayscenic.com

Next weekend is my BF's b-day. So we are going to go to Salem, MA on the Schooner Fame which is what he wanted to do for his bday. http://www.schoonerfame.com

Monty will be joining us on that as well. Both are fairly inexpensive and I'll get some good pics I'm sure.

Hopefully the rain will hold off.
