I love that movie.

It was weak and sorry to sound to skeptical, but I am not so sure that was even Yavn who wrote it.

I agree. There was something about it that just didn't seem right. Remember "Yavn" is not the guy's real name. It was his created VMK toon. Let's just say he did move on (we all don't know if he did for sure but just play along)they could keep Yavn Speaks going no matter what just because that is what the players know for giving updates and such. Anyone could really type up something that is part of VMK and put it up.

Now that hat is just ugly. It does look like someone put a bowl on their head and that is what I was thinking too when I saw it. I think it would have been better had it just looked like orange mouse ears and not so much like a pumpkin. JMO though. And really the whole CL program has been put out there about how it is being changed and blah blah blah. If we ever heard word on anything that has to do with the changes for that or moderation for the game I will be surprised at this point. At this point I think the behind the scenes moderation of the game needs to be fixed before anything. Things are out of control in the game with the bad behavior and I think it will be what could cause the game's downfall if they don't fix their employees way of dealing with things. Game is not exactly a "safe" place it was suppose to be for kids to play in. JMO again.

Now hopefully we will see something new for costumes but wouldn't be surprised if we don't either. Obviously the old ones would be new to some players while old to some of us. Wonder what the end of the month Halloween event will be? Hopefully something worth while cause I haven't seen anything to get excited about in a long time for the game. Which is why I have rarely logged on all month.
Trading card game, well it will be interesting to see how the prizes end up given out for that.

Seriously though .. seems that Yavn cannot catch a break, he writes about lots of up coming features in the game, and instead of gettting excited for things to come, everyone is whining because they can't have the item NOW. So, he tries to keep up coming game stuff to himself, and everyone complains that he doesn't give enough info ..

I wouldn't want Yavn's job for all the tea in China

I can't wait for October now, I'm really happy that weekend pins are coming back. I hope they decorate Main street again!

And I can't wait for the advanced version of the VMK Trading card game, I still don't get how you play it but if I'm playing against someone else who doesn't understand how to play, I might win something lol

Well first of all, I loooove that we're getting pumpkin ears. I just got back from DLR and think the real version of that hat is super cute. HOWEVER....the size of those virtual ears? What the heck? That looks like what happens when you try to put a pair of adult sized ears on an infant's head. What are they thinking? Maybe the pic is just a prototype??

I would just like to say that the ability to have a huge pumpkin on your head and run around that way with no shame is AWESOME.

Hey Mnementh.....I was not really meaning to over analyze. Really! I was just pointing out that "Yavn" is not a real person. Justin, Betty, Mark, Phillip or Lola could be Yavn these days for all we know.

Granted, if he is still around he is swamped with the redesign for the upcoming holidays and game to be released which would explain his lack of pep in the newsletter as well as his lack of appearance.

Either way it is cool and I don't really care. As long as the man himself is happy, that is all that matters. I'm not saying, I was just saying.......

I think having Pumpkin Ears and Dream Ears are Cool..no matter what! At least their new and they are Disney hats...and isn't that what we all been wanting was more Disney stuff?

I love the ears! My impression is that they're supposed to look like you cut an actual pumpkin in half, stuck ears on it and put it on your head. Real pumpkins are thick, so they wouldn't be form-fitting like the fabric ears would be. If you were wearing a pumpkin on your head, it would look a little bit like you were wearing a big bowl. Make sense?

I'm with Jasonbobdude in the Shameless Pumpkin Wearing Camp (although I adore my dream ears and wouldn't necessarily say the pumpkin is BETTER). I want a pumpkin on my virtual head ASAP!
