Yard Sale To Feature Items

This was an actual headline in our local paper today

I wanted to reply to it and THANK them for explaining that yard sales have items. I NEVER would have put two and two together

I run from yard sales. Some pretty scary people hold them, and go to them. And if I have another person stop in the middle of a 4 lane boulevard to pull a U turn to get to a yard sale I'll scream.

I have be a part of just one yard sale, after my mother in law passed away. I actually had someone ask me how much I would pay them to take an item.

That, and the guy that wanted to negotiate the price down on a shovel....we wanted 25 cents for it!!

OP, that's a horrible headline! I bet another word was originally in there and omitted because there was not enough space and then they forgot to put something else back in.

I used to be a newspaper reporter on a small paper and it was fun trying to get headlines to fit in the spaces we had. It was almost like a puzzle.
