Yard sale success!!

We had a yard sale to raise funds for our upcoming trip in October. We made $400!! We quickly went to our local disney store and traded it in for disney $.

Wow, good for you! A yard sale is a lot work. You must of had a ton of stuff.

I enjoy doing crafts over the summer so this fall I will do a craft show or 2 and will put it towards our trip in Dec.

Wow 400.00 is great for one day!! We had our today also and made 200.00. Tomorrow I'm gonna put a sign out that states fill a bag(clothes)for 6.00's!! I tried it with two customers today and one of them fill three bags!! Hoping tomorrow will be better, if not what doesn't sell goes to good will!

It was tons of work and we had way too much stuff! We were exhausted by the end of the day, but it was really worth it. At the end of the day, my dh just started saying a $1 a box, if you can fit it in the box and carry it, you can have it. It was so great to clean out, we finally have our basement back. Today I also had my yard sale and made $102.00 not to bad this was my second yard sale in the last 2 months first one also made around $125.00 ..... I'll take that and be HAPPY more for DISNEY .....

that is a great way to make extra money..we had one a few months back and made around 350..i would like to have another one....just to get some more extra cash saved up.. so far...plane tickets are paid for ...room and park tickets are paid..now we just gotta have that extra spending money....

We had one earlier this week and made $300. Now we have a good start on saving for our next trip.
