Yard sale advice....help me!

I started sorting clothes today for our yard sale (it's 2 weeks away). So far I've rubberbanded all the shoes together, safety pinned the outfits together and sorted everything by size. We have clothes from NB-24 months. I'm also selling all our baby stuff (DH had the big V, we are officially done).

Help me with wording for our ad and general advice about setting it up. I have so many clothes that to start the sale I'm thinkg about one size per table (we have at least 50 pieces of clothing per size) then combining them as the clothes sell.

For the ad I was thinking of something catchy like:

Going out of baby business sale. Boys clothes size NB-24 mos. High chair, exersaucer, pack n play, bouncy seat, stroller, baby toys, plus more. Little tykes outdoor toys. Women's plus size clothing. Misc. Household items, TV, books, camping equipment. Sat 9-5, Sun 9-4, Sun 12-4 $1 bag sale on all kids clothes.

Too wordy? Need more description?

DH and I are also going to post flyers at work in our break rooms and I'm going to post a flyer at the store 1/4 mile from our house plus ask if we can post one at daycare. Plus word of mouth. I'm going to email friends and family so they can spread the word.

I like the ad. Will you run it in your local paper? You could post on your local Craigslist, too. You might want to work the phrase yard sale into the ad, though. I just reread it and without knowing it's a yard sale, folks might actually think it's a going out of business sale for a baby store.

also so by $1 bag sale on the kids clothes does that mean if they fill up a bag they get everything in that bag for $1????

Don't forget to list where it is at! I read so many ads in this weekends paper that did not have an address!

I think you need to make it clear in the ad that Sun 12-4 is for the $1 a bag sale. Maybe write it in parantheses or on a separate line. Definitely post on Craigslist.
