Will the Yankees close it out tonight or do the Red Sox need to inject some more hope into their fans before cruelly yanking it away again?

I think the Yankees will win it tonight, although Torre using all his pitchers last night has me worried. The Yankees need another great showing from Lieber.

I'm usually the last one to compliment anyone on the Red Sox, but David Ortiz has been amazing and has made a very compelling argument for the MVP award.

The Sox love to torture their die hard fans, so I'm going to say they will leave us hanging 1 game longer.

Fortunately I have my Patriots to pin my hopes on

I was surprised that Loaiza pitched so well last night. He hasn't done that well really. And the game winning hit came on a very good pitch. Ortiz just fought it off into center. All you can really do is give Ortiz credit there.

Honestly though, I just don't think the Red Sox have anything to throw at tonight's game. They've certainly made it more interesting, but I think it comes to an end tonight.

I'm more interested right now in seeing what Pedro is going to do.

I'm a diehard fan, but I'm a realist. I don't see the Red Sox ever winning the series in my lifetime. And to be honest, I think it would take away some of the joy in being a fan if they weren't the perpetual underdogs.

ROFLOL!!! Ahhhh....another Bucky Dent fan! Those were the days eh?! I remember that like it was yesterday.

Anyway, Ortiz is pretty amazing. Actually, I have so much respect for the Red Sox AND their fans. Wow...I need some sleep. These games are KILLING ME!!!!!

I think the Red Sox will win tonight behind a strong pitching performance from Curt Schilling.

But to the continuing disappointment for the Red Sox Nation, the Yankees win game 7.

It will be over tonight. The Red Sox are making a mistake throwing Schilling with his ankle. That said, nothing would please me more than to see the Yankess blow a 3-1 lead. How awsome would that be??? Losing to a team like Florida last year in the Series...at home!! The choking against the hated Red Sox? I don't what I'd like to see more...that or them losing to Clemens in the 7th game of the WS at Yankee Stadium. It's a toss up.

But, then I could be wrong.
