Yankee Candles

I have always used party lite candles but since I've been hanging out here and "Dis-ing" I've been reading alot about Yankee Candles so I decided to buy a few. Today I went to the Hallmark & picked up a couple & I am really liking them so far! I am burning a Vanilla Cookie one now & it's really making me want a glass of milk! Could it be that I've found a new diet....just smelling the cookies will satisfy me? hmmmm worth a try

If only it were that easy! Lol If you like vanilla cookie, then you'll have to try their christmas cookie scent at the holidays. They are very similar, but it will smell like you've been baking cookies all day! Yummy!

Sooo true!! If I only ate the 'scents' I love, I'd probably lose a ton of weight!! I like MacIntosh, Watermelon, pineapple, vineyard, berry bramble, etc. All good stuff for me! But alas, I don't eat that stuff!

Smelling cookies would only make me want to eat cookies.
I recently go into the YC craze. I wanted the house to smell nice so (and not wanting to feel girly) I brought my sister with me to pick out a candle and we chose strawberry lemonade. I was shocked at the price. Are they cheaper in other stores??? I have a fresh air scent one in the living room and a Lime basil one in the bathroom.

They're definitely not cheap, but they do last a long time... and they're so worth it. Burned my Coconut Bay some more last night -- just can't get enough of that one. And Pooh93 is right -- wait 'til you smell the Christmas Cookie one!! YUM!!!

I've gotten my 11 and 12 year old to join me in the obsession! If I don't lite one every AM, they'll remind me!

Right now, my 12 year old is gettin ready to lite our Midsummer's Night Tart! I'm addicted to the tarts, it's cheaper and makes it easier to try different scents without spending a lot.

I visited Nirvana this past weekend, ie THE Yankee Candle shop in Deerfield, MA.

With a purchase of $75.00 or more, you got a free tart burner.

So.......now I have a tart burner and I've never bought a tart.

I guess I need to make a trip to the local Yankee Candle store.
