I opened your thread & thought oh dear God not another one who wants to know if its okay to burn in WDW resort room :lmao: was quite relieved to see your question....sooooo...I have had many candles from everywhere and my faves are Yankee Candles, I think they last so much longer than the cheapos and like the one you picked. I have some for years & they smell the same as when new :goodvibes

Better yet... switch to Scentsy Wickless Candles :thumbsup2

They are cheaper per hour, have a stronger smell, have no flames to worry about, no lead, no soot - good stuff all around

Yankee have strong scents, can't leave them lit too long or you over-do it. I love Sun n Sand, need to get a new one this year.

I like them but will only buy themceither at BBB with a coupon AND the scent of the month so 45% off total. I think they burn faster than they used to.

I just bought a Mainstay for $5 at Walmart to try and am pleasantly surprised by the strenght of the scent.

Personally I love Yankee Candles and think they're worth the extra money. They have so many great smelling scents and last a long time.

If you register with their website, they'll send you buy one/get one coupons for the jar candles a few times a year. :)

see that yet another day I learn something here on the Dis....thanks Tink I never knew that

Yeah, they're good candles. I actually don't burn candles anymore (or even scentsy for that matter) because they harm your lungs. :(

Yep...they are worth every penny.

I love how most of their scents come in votives. That way, you can spend $2.00 and get to smell the scent at home while lit so you can decide if you like it before you spend $20+ on a large candle. I do that all the time...I've found some new favorites that way!! :thumbsup2

BTW...my favorite scent is Mango Peach Salsa
My mom's favorote scent is Home Sweet Home.

Oh, and the car fresheners are pretty awesome too!! :cheer2:

Yes. They are worth it. I have tried several different kinds and Yankees are the best. I love the Vineyard scent.

I know I must be an oddball, but I'm not really a fan of Yankee Candles! If you want something relatively inexpensive, but lasts a good long time and is pretty strong, try Patriot Candles. I found them in Walgreens and online. Sometimes Walgreens has them on sale buy one get one or similar.

My absolute favorite brand is Woodwick. It has that wooden wick that crackles when it burns.

I absolutly love Sun and Sand. I have it in my bedroom and a car hanger in my car. It is my favorite scent.
I have cherry vanilla in my kitchen right now and it smells great. I am not usually a vanilla fan but the cherry overpowers the vanilla. My kitchen smells like a cherry pie.
It's very hard to decide what to burn at Christmas since they have so many great Christmas scents. So I have to light a different one every day.
I have 5 or 6 that have made it through 2 holidays already and are up in the attic right now for next Christmas, the scents last that long in their covered jars.

I use to think they were worth all the extra $ for the huge scent in the home. When I was at the local store a week or so back, I explained that I had been very disappointed in the Home Sweet Home and going from jar to jar, and other scents found them not near the quality I had previously.

The clerk stated that with the oil situation and everything economic hit so did the formulation and quality of the candles...I won't pay that money any more for what a fan I was.

Just pay the less price at Walmart, the Febreeze scents, buy some scented aroma sticks....
Even the car ones we bought bogo free. Lasted about a week.....
:hippie:
