Hiya all

Seen as though we are slipping towards halloween, I thought I would let you know theres all the new halloween ranges on the yankee candle site

I am definatly going to be getting some of these things,

theres a lovely spiders web bowl to put floating candles in.

Any body out there love halloween as well

I so want some of these Anna, just afraid by the time I get there they will be all sold out :( Put some in your massive luggage for me ;)

can fetch you a couple back if you want we have 320kg between us

Thanx Anna ~ Will need to check out the YC site :thumbsup2

I was looking on the YC website the otherday and they do ship to the UK, I don't think that their shipping was too bad either so I might order a few things. Our local garden centre stocks some candles but not a huge range, and I love them!!

The candle shop, down The Lanes, in Meadowhall sells quite a good range of candles and accessories too :thumbsup2

I tend to buy, online, from http://www.yankeedoodle.co.uk/x-cart/home.php and they have 20% off Halloween stock at the moment :sunny:
Granted that they only seem to have the Halloween Candles at the moment but it's a start :goodvibes

Sorry, boards decided I had finished writing my message when I hadn't! This was a coupon link I had earlier - no ide if it's usable as it has a barcode on it but feel free to try - it's valid online and in shops. Hope it can help someone.

hiya

thanx for posting the coupon that will help me its valid till 30th november, and I always spend way more than $25 lol

Showing my ignorance here, I've seen a lot of you mention Yankee candles, may I ask what is so special about them?

Wendy ~

I really like them because they come in such lovely fragrances. They last for ages. Once you get your first YC you will be hooked.

Kaylee - I have Boo, Tricky and Wicked tarts for you ;)

The lady in the shop said you should be fine to buy these in early November and that there was an excellent chance they would be at deep discount :teeth:

Just wondering if anyone knows how to stop a jar from burning it's self out, I have got a small on of "fresh linen" and it keeps on going out or the flame is very very small, I have tried to extend the wick by digging it out a little around the base of the wick but that seems to only solve the problem temporarily? Any ideas ladies? :confused3

Not sure how to stop it burning itself out but know you can warm it up in a pan of hot water (pretty certain there are far more civilised ways of achieving the same effect)

An electric warmer will be a far more sophisticated way I guess :sunny:

Florence and Kaylee - what have you done? I took a trip to my local garden centre, have just returned home, they had a full stand of Yankee candles of all sorts of colours so chose a red one for my dining room(called Macintosh and smells of apples) and a white one for the bathroom (called Clean Cotton). As I'm sitting here typing I can smell the apple one quite clearly. I can see I'm going to have to go back when the Xmas decorations are out to see if they have any festive fragrances available. Not sure I would buy them off the internet as I didn't like the smell of some of them especially the Cinnamon one, bit too strong.

Congrats Wendy ~ You are now a YCandler :thumbsup2

I know - another thing to be proud of. :) Any more experiences I'm going to have to have as a Disser?
