I need to buy my candles online this year (none close at my new home) and I need your input! Which Christmas Candle smells the MOST like a REAL Christmas tree? Those of you that have smelled them in person, which one is tree smell?

Holiday Garland? Balsam & Cedar? Balsam Fir?

If I have to guess, I am going to go with Holiday garland or Balsam Fir, but I would love to hear from somoene who has smelled them. :)

I have one at home that smells just like an evergreen tree, I think it it is Balsam and Cedar:confused3?!?!?!? I can check when I get home, but can't report back until tomorrow. I love it and burn it every Christmas season!

The one I burn at Christmas that I think smells like evergreen is Mistletoe.

DD works at YC but isn't home or I would ask her.

DD is home. (She works at Yanke Candle.) Here is her professional opinion.

She and her manager both think Balsam Fir is "gross." It's a retired scent.

Balsam and Cedar is strong. Holiday Garland is ok. She said she prefers Cristmas Wreath and Mistletoe which are both lighter scets.

I just bought all of my tarts there, and was looking for the same thing. Here's my opinion. Keep in mind, I bought all of them since they are tarts, so I am smelling them as we speak!

Holiday Garland: lighter, smells like a tree, but has some sort of additional christmas scent to it.

Balsam: not that great...would work in a pinch

Mistletoe: AWESOME...I think closest to a tree without smelling nasty. :)

Christmas Wreath: I think my favorite...smells very similar to Mistletoe.

I also have Mountain Pine...which smells just like a pine tree, but now that I have it home, it's really really strong. I think your best bet is Holiday Garland, Mistletoe, or Christmas Wreath.

I have the Balsam Fir one and it is ok but it burns with a sweet scent that makes it not quite like a tree. The Slatken and Co. Fresh Balsam from Bath and Body works smells JUST LIKE a fir tree :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2. It is by far the best one I have ever found.

ITA! Christmas Wreath is what we burn to give the illusion of a "real" tree

For years, it's been Balsam Cedar. I live in the desert and it's fragrance is a little slice of heaven!

If you want something that smells like a Christmas tree, Balsam and Cedar is the way to go. I have a tart burning right now and it is wonderful. A perennial favorite.

Another vote here for Mistletoe!! :santa: I spent about a half hour in the store doing a "sniff off"! :rotfl2:

Christmas Wreath. Just bought one last week. IMO it was also the strongest smelling of Yankee's pine scents.

My favorite scent is Holiday Sage. I can not wait until next Friday when I can start burning it. :cloud9:
