Yankee candle clearance question

for those who ordered. I ordered on 12/25. I haven't received any communication about my order. When I check it at yankeecandle.com, it says 1 item was canceled & the other 2 are "in process."

What could be taking so long? Anyone else having problems?
 
I ordered on 12/26 and received confirmation within 5 minutes. YC takes a long time to deliver. Delivery should be within 14 days of order (don't forget the holidays).
 
Forgot to mention...I even emailed them about the canceled item (I didn't cancel it) and I have heard NOTHING!

Try calling their customer service. A woman answered within 2 rings and helped me out with my order. It takes a long time to go through a bunch of emails- better idea to call. 1-877-803-6890

I had ordered a bunch of 99 cent votives (non-xmas scents) and 1 jar candle (Christmas Cookie). The jar candle was backordered and I'm going home in a few days (currently at parents' home) so I called to get the address changed on it. I had made the order on 12/27 and I think it showed up on the website a day or so later. The votives say "in progress" and the jar candle says "backorder". The woman said the votives should go out tomorrow, not sure about the jar candle but she didn't give me any indication that it would be cancelled. Since UPS only takes a few days, I'm hoping I'll get them by Saturday at the latest as I go home on Sunday.
 
Me too - haven't heard a word. I checked my order online and noticed that Yankee has cancelled quite a few items in my order. VERY frustrating
 
I have gotten a few items from my order. However when I look up my account they still say they are in processs. I just dont think they are able to keep up their website at the moment. Im in PA and have always revieved my shipments very quickly. Im just crossing my fingers that the rest of my order, or most of it comes through.
 
I ordered on the 26th and recieved my stuff on the 29th. The order that I placed on the 30th is still not showing up under my orders but my CC was charged. I figured it is being delayed due to the holidays.
 
I guess I am going to have to call tomorrow morning. I just checked and I haven't been charged yet. Go figure...
 
I placed 2 orders on the 25th and received both on Friday. They show shipped on the web site. A couple of items were cancelled and I ordered early in the morning.

I also placed orders on the 26th and 27th. What items didn't get cancelled are showing "in process".
 
The item that shows being cancelled was cancelled by them, not you. I placed an order on 12/25 & what was shipped arrive tonight...and I gave it right back to the UPS guy to return to them as I was told by their CSR.
 
I placed an order on 12/26 and got confirmation by email within minutes. I received the order yesterday afternoon.
 
Well, I FINALLY got an email from yankee, saying my items were shipped on the 3rd. Took them long enough!
 
I also ordered some stuff on 12/26, I just got an email telling me some of my stuff has been shipped, and some is backordered. There were 2 tarts that were cancelled off my order. I used the $10 off a $25 purchase coupon for my order, since they cancelled 2 tarts, that would bring my total to less than $25 ---- so, what do they do in that case? Do they still honor the final price less the two tarts or are they going to add on $10 because now I'm under the $25??????
 
I got my order tonight, minus the item that was cancelled.

kimisabella-not sure. My original order came to around $25 with shipping AFTER the $10 off coupon. My CC was charged $13 something for what I got (minus the cancelled $11 jar candle).

Mine came to $24 something after the coupon. My jar candle was backordered and my CC was also charged $13 something. Guess they'll charge the rest if they end up shipping it. Ordered on the 27th and STILL haven't gotten confirmation :rolleyes: I'm going home to VA on Sunday... I hope they'll arrive before then. Otherwise my parents will have to send them down to VA for me. UGH.

One of my orders had several items cancelled. My total came under the $25 (ended up being around $18 including shipping) and they took the $10 off anyway. Hope they do it for you too.

That's what they should do in the situation, but you never know - hope they do it for me too!!! :teeth:
