I told y'all that I made a deal with the weatherman that if we move back to Canada from the South, it would be a mild winter.

You like that do you I laughed when I saw it one of the guys on teh HABS forum is using it so I asked if I could grab it to use it is one of his friends and he wears it around Toronto quite frequently LOL.

Yzma and Kronk - Thanks! I'm good to not have that "stuff" around. Although I could have used it last week so that my kids could have at least played outside on their holidays. Something about wet and mud not being much fun

CharlesTD - I showed one of my diehard TML fan friends your pic ... he wants to know where you live I'm holding out until his price gets high enough that he'll be financing a trip to WDW for me, so you're safe for now!

It's nice that it's so mild BUT we have ds' birthday party this Saturday and it's a SLEIGH RIDE!!! Just not the same effect to have a sleigh ride in the mud as it is in the snow!! Plus my daycare munchkins would really like a little bit of snow.

They cancelled our school busses here yesterday too and it turned out to be a beautiful day.... kids had a great day off

Maryliz I love teh pic it is hilarious and oh so true LOL snow in the forecast for this weekend just so everyone knows or so they were reporting on the radio when I got to work.

Yes, it has been 39 years.......and counting, but Toronto has made it to the playoffs 8 times in the last 10 years, the Habs 5. The Leafs have 7 series wins in the last 10 years........the Habs 3. Best yet, the Habs are on pace to make it 5 for the past 11.



Although, after 5 days of playoffs, I will be cheering for the Flames.

Yes but digs making it to the playoffs doens' make for playoff success winning a cup that does or making the cup finals also does. The Leafs can make the playoffs every year it really isn't a big deal we all know they fold once they do LOL. Just look at the last time they won a cup. I would rather not make the playoffs then to see all teh playoff failures that the Leafs have shown LOL.

touche. I haven't experienced Leaf success, I wasn't alive in '67. I did watch the Flames with excitement last year though.
It's been 8 years since the Leafs have had a losing season though......
