I'm condidering a CS meal at Yakatori House...which is a bit silly b/c I have ADRs at Teppanyaki Dining Room. BUT the menu looks SO good.

I don't eat seafood but I would consider getting the combo platter w/shrimp and pass on the shrimp to DD. Are the combo platters mixed or is the terriyaki beef/chicken/shrimp placed in seperate spoonfuls on the plate? I don't mind the shrimp "touching" other stuff, I just don't want it mixed together b/c my paranoid mind would start thinking the whole thing tastes fishy!

I'm on the dining plan...would I be better off at another CS? Suggestions to get my money's worth? Looking for larger portions b/c I think my family of two adults, two children will just share 3 CS meals to stretch the plan a bit. I've done the cantina about 100 times (okay not that many) so I probably WON'T go there this trip.

I am not sure about the food being mixed in, but as far as food portions we found them very large - definately could share. We really enjoyed our dinner at Yakatori and would go back. Food was hot and fresh, service was very nice, and if you can snag a table by the windows it is also really great people watching. I would recommend Yakatori.

Alright! Two thumbs up for LARGE PORTIONS and PEOPLE watching. Thanks! Now..I just wonder if a combo is mixed?

just tell them to put the shrimp on the side in another plate.

a great place to use the CS is tangerine cafe in Morrocco. The highest price item really gives you a ton of food.

I found the ribs at Flame Tree barbecue at AK is also really big. The desserts are bigger still.

At Tomorrowland Noodle Station at MK, the portions are big too and if you order pot stickers as your side, you get 4 fat ones which you could spawn off to your kids.

We had the combination plate on our recent August visit, and it was very good!

No worries about the shrimp being mixed in; it actually just 'lays' on top nice and crispy, and is easily removed.

hmm maybe we hit a bad time but our meal was truthfully bordering on inedible there. the rice an sauce were good but the chicken was disgusting. ( normally enjoy that type of food, this was just bad bad bad)
