Yak & Yeti!!

Hi everybody!!! I was just wondering if Yak&Yeti is a restauraunt worth trying... With that being said I have never been there before and was just wondering if it's a nice restauraunt to eat at!!!!!
Any input/advice on this restauraunt would be great!! (Just to put it out there, I do like chinese food so this restauraunt seems OK to me)

I've eaten there twice and enjoyed it both times - the decor is great - and if you are lucky enough to get seated upstairs near a window - you can do some good people watching We've also sat at the bar just inside the main entrance and had great service and good conversation with other CMs who were there eating..... The food selections are typical - and generally tasted very good - daughter and I also had Kobe beef burger on one of the trips and it was delish....

I say try it at least once......

We tried it for the first time in May and really liked it! It is on our list for next time too! I had the lo mein, Son (11) had a cheeseburger, son (6) had the kids burger, husband and daughter had honey chicken and our daughters's boyfriend had the duck! For dessert the won tons were SO yummy!! Our favorites were the lo mein and cheeseburger. Lo mein had so much flavor! The cheeseburger just melts in your mouth!!

My family had a good meal for lunch on our Dec trip. The food was good, service was adequate and the kids enjoyed it. Our only problem was that it was only 40 degrees outside and we took a while to warm up!

ETA: Asked DW and she said she wouldn't go back. To her it was just plain old Chinese food that we can get anywhere.

That's right! I forgot about the wontons! SO GOOD!!

We absolutely LOVE Yak & Yeti!!! It's always a must do for us...I always get the shoaxing shrimp & steak. My daughter loves the low mein and the wontons...The ambiance is neat and it is the only restaurant we have eaten at in AK. We like it enough to go there rather than trying anything else. Let me know if you have any other questions..

Best ribs in WDW. Their regular "chinese food" isn't anything special, but their other stuff -- the tempura shrimp, steak and shrimp, ribs, crusted mahi mahi, etc., are all excellent.

Thumbs up from us as well! The ribs are amazing. Nice selection for all kinds of eaters, great atmosphere...as another poster said, upstairs near a window makes for great people watching!

I liked this restaurant a lot. The theming is beautifully done. Food was decent for Disney - I had a chicken and rice dish that was a bit dry, but my wife had a seafood curry and rice dish that was excellent. This was our server's favorite recommendation.

We love Yak and Yeti-never miss it on a trip. We always get really good service and enjoy the food.

Might have been the best meal of our trip this year and we will definitely go back. DH had the duck and I had the maple tamarind chicken. And the fried wonton dessert is out of this world!
