Thinking about trying the Yak & Yeti TA this time on our AK day, tell me what your thoughts are goog or bad.

DH is picky, but I need a variety and this one looks like it might be a good fit for both of us, considering they have a burger.

We ate at Yak & Yeti for the first time last month and loved it. I had the seafood curry & DH had the duck. Both dishes were delicious! Our son is a little picky, but he ordered the ribs and really liked them. I had the cream cheese wontons for dessert, and they were soooo good. We showed up about 30 minutes early for our ADR and got a table right away. The service was a bit slow, but our server was very friendly, so I overlooked that. It was definitely one of our favorite meals of the trip. I think you should give it a try! :)

We have eaten here twice and really disliked it. The pho was inedible and I rarely say that. The other time I had lo mein and it was so bland I might as well have been eating straw. My husband had the ribs and he thought they were okay but not good. The portions are beyond huge though.

We ate there last month for the first time as well. We liked it, but I wouldn't say we Loved it.
DH had the steak and shrimp and he enjoyed it. I had the Honey Chicken and I thought it was just okay. I was really looking forward to the Cream Cheese Wontons - actually the main reason I made an ADR there. I didn't like them at all. My first bite and the wonton was extremelly greasy. I would try them again, maybe that was a fluke.
We would go back again. But maybe next trip we will return to Tusker House lunch buffet instead.
Good Luck

Not meaning to hijack the thread, but has anybody tried the mango pie here? I am a huge mango fan, so this really appeals. I have a ressie for the 23rd of this month.:goodvibes

No problem :thumbsup2

I think we will give it a try, I want to eat at some different places this time and this is one on my list.

We have done the Tusker House lunch and it was good, except that they had horseradish marked as mashed potatoes and boy did I get a surprise (it even earned me a tag from the Tag Fairy).

We are doing the TH breakfast this thime

We ate at Yak and Yeti this past May and really liked it. We had the egg rolls for an app and I had the crispy orange chicken and husband had the steak and shrimp and there were both very good. For dessert I had the fried cream cheese wontons and husband had the sorbet both very delicious also. I cant remember what our kids ate but I remember them liking the restaurant very interesting decor and lots of neat stuff to look at. We would definitely go there again.

I really liked it. I had the steak and shrimp for my entree and the fried won tons for dessert.

I liked it so much that I just made a reservation for May. Yum!
