Yak & Yeti or Flame Tree Lunch?

I think flame tree barbecue this one of the most overrated restaurants At Disney.. Yak & Yeti is very underrated and taste very good. I thought the chicken at flame tree was nasty and very dry. I have no desire to eat there ever again.

Finally, someone agrees with me! Besides Yak & Yeti counter service the other place I love to eat is restaurantsaurus. I.love there burgers and the theming is way cool.

The last time we went the birds were annoying and aggressive and turned us off to eating there again.

YES! We love Flame Tree, but this was awful last trip. Probably won't eat there again next trip because of it.

Flametree is our go-to every trip to AK. I even figured out how to replicate the rub on the chicken to make at home we like it that much.

Last time we stayed at AKL (2015 I believe), they sold the Flame Tree dry rub in the store! Not sure if its available anywhere else, but it came in a tin and tasted the same to us!

Lol. Ya i know what you mean. When i tried the ribs i thought, what the heck? This is what people were raving about? Lol. Since Satuli Canteen opened up, this is my go-to meal at AK. Its honestly one of my fave QS in disney.

So, I will add to this: We used to eat at flame tree each trip; however, we tried the honey chicken at yak and yet QS, and it was great. I love rice, chicken, and honey, so it is a winner. Now, we always eat at Y&Y QS. Can't comment on Y&Y TS because we've never eaten there.
I guess you just have to try one of these for yourself!

So... we decided to purchase the Landrys card... so far the firecracker shrimp and honey chicken look like clear winners... my 2 yo will only eat chicken fingers and they are on the menu.. plus some wontons and maybe a mangopie.. yummmmm... cannot wait .. thanks so much for all the input everyone!!

We love Flame Tree, but we skipped it last week because we needed some AC, so we had to settle for Pizzafari and Restaurantasaurus. Also skipped Harambe for the same reason. They really need some more indoor seating for the QS places at AK, especially with the aggressive birds at Flame Tree. (We did love Satu'li for another meal)

Flame Tree is my favorite QS in the park, but Yak and Yeti TS is much more relaxing and chill, while also being tasty. The fried green beans and lettuce cup apps are great, and I'm a sucker for the chicken tikka masala (not the best I've ever had, but it's hard to find good Indian where we live), while my SO loves the miso salmon.

As strange as it sounds... Yak and Yeti has one of the best burgers on property!! The lettuce wraps are also awesome! We eat here every trip and sometimes twice in one trip. My children love it - the wonton dessert but the chocolate cake is good too! We have eaten at Flame Tree and weren't impressed to say the least! The Pandora Canteen is good too if you want a counter service.

I totally agree! I avoid places that dont have a/c or at the very least, decent shade. It really can make or break the meal in a way. lol. And yes, birds can be annoying.

Yak and Yeti is great, but, if you haven't eaten at Satu'li Canteen, I would go there. Best CS at Disney!

If these are your two choices, Yak & Yeti is more logical.
You can sit inside, the food is good, and the wontons (as previously mentioned multiple times) are very good. To be honest, I prefer Flame Tree when it comes to food. They're both good, but for a CS, FlameTree is a good value as they have combo platters. Still, you're going to get a better value at a TS.
