Yak & Yeti offline for Oct. ADRs?

Howdy!

Called this morning for our ADRs; this is our 180 + 10 day. I tried to get a lunch at Yak & Yeti for an October date and the CM (who did seem to know what she was doing) said she couldn't even access Yak & Yeti to see if there was availability the day and time I wanted. She said it was very strange and advised me to call again tomorrow.

Anyone else have problems like this? I got Le Cellier and everything else we wanted, but thought it was strange that Yak & Yeti wasn't even accessible to the CM (and it seems too soon for a planned closing for renovations or anything like that).

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the problem or not, but you can not make an ADR for Yak & Yeti until exactly 180 days from the date you are planning to dine there. If you were trying to make it for any day other than your arrival date, that could possibly have been why the CM couldn't access it.

They aren't acessible for the 180 plus 10. Some of the non-isney own restraunts are only available at 180. Raglan Road is the same way. Just phone back on that day and you shoul get it.

Aha! Thank you SO much -- this has got to be the problem. I will indeed call back on the 180 day mark for that particular reservation.

This is why we use the travel agent that we do, she makes all of our reservations for us and we have never had a problem getting what we want.

When I first read this thread I thought, "Wow, that's weird. I made an ADR for Yak & Yeti for our October trip." Then I realized that our ADR is on the first day of our trip (which would have been 180 days out exactly). So, I guess the CM really couldn't access it yet.

I had the same problem back in February when I made our ADR's for August. For Yak and Yeti, you have to call on the exact 180 day mark.
