Yak and Yeti

....Don't forget to order the Yak Attack (one of their specialty drinks). Sooo good!

What is the Yak Attack? I wanted to order one of these frozen Martinis but had beer instead. I plan to make the grape crush at home soon. Our neighborhood liquor store has a purple colored 3 olives grape vodka... I guess that's how they make it...

The Yak & Yeti is the only restaurant in any of the parks that is not run by Disney. "Landry's" is the company that runs it. In our experience the food was a little better than most other WDW restaurants. I would not recommend the KOBE burger, although it was not bad it tasted like any other burger to me, I wish I had something else on the menu, which my family did(all 25 of our group) and they raved over the items on the menu.

San Angel Inn and La Hacienda de San Angel, the restaurants in Mexico in Epcot, are operated by Palmas Services.

We ate counter service there when we went back in December. He had the Crispy Honey Chicken and I had the Mandarin Chicken Salad. Both were awesome. So awesome in fact, that we can't wait to try the table service when we go back in September.

I love Yak n Yeti!

My favorite appetizer is the Wok Fried Green Beans.

For entrees, I love the Malaysian Seafood Curry and the Baby Back Ribs.

I didn't really care for the desserts though.

In addition to the Mexican restaurants a pp mentioned, the places in the Italy, Morocco, and France pavilions are run by outside companies, not Disney.

Yak & Yeti was one of those places that people seemed to love or hate. I read alot of reviews on this board and the pics and the menu won me over. I am so glad we tried it. We loved it. I had the steak and shrimp, dh ahd beef and broccoli and my kids had the Kobe burger and the ribs. We were all very happy with our food. The least favorite meal on the table ws the ribs. My son didn't really like the BBQ sauce.

This has been our must-do restaurant since it opened. We love the beauty, watching the parade, and the food is some of the best we have had.

Which pararde? :confused3

AK has the Jammin' jungle Parade, that turns right outside the restaurant. If you book around 3:30 and get a window table, you will have a good view! This is about our favorite parade, the animal contraptions are very clever, almost has a Tapestry of Nations feel.

That's not true. Several resataurants in Epcot are not run by Disney. Tutto Italia and Via Nappoli are not. San Angel Inn and La Hacienda are not either. I also don't believe the ones in Japan, China and Morraco are either.

We really enjoyed our last 2 lunches at Yak and Yeti and are going back this May. The steak and shrimp was wonderful. The pot stickers, wings, and sping rolls were all tasty appetizers. My son really liked his ribs. My DH liked the beef and broccoli dish he got. My other son had some type of crispy chicken dish and he liked it. The desserts were all very good. The portions were large and everything was served fresh and very hot. I don't remember our selections at our lunch prior to this as it was in 2008, but I know we all enjoyed them.

We are not vegetarians so I can not speak about those selections, or lack there of.

The alcohol selections were pretty good, if you care about those. :goodvibes

The service was very good both trips. We are looking forward to going back...big thumbs up. :thumbsup2
