Yak and Yeti TS sweet and sour chicken

Is the sweet and sour chicken (The chicken itself minus any sauce and fruit/vegetables in the sauce) at Y&Y basically the same as you'll find at most american Chinese take out restaurants? My son, who has sensory and feeding issues loves sweet and sour chicken, with the sauce on the side so he can control the delicate sauce to chicken ratio. He often jokes that he just wants Chinese chicken nuggets and rice.

We have an ADR for our trip next week and I just want to be sure he won't be surprised by something completely foreign looking to him. He'll be fine if I can prepare him for what to expect.

Following along bc I was wondering the same thing for my little picky eater of mine, LOL...he loves sweet & sour chicken but we are never sure about different places sauces so we always make him order either beef fried rice or chicken fried rice (without veggies, if he sees anything green he will literally make himself puke, LOL). Anyways not usually too hard to screw up fried rice and we find most places have the same recipe or very similar fried rice recipe...better safe than sorry, lol

Thats helpful! Thanks! Yup I think our safe bet would be fried rice no veggies, lol...definitely too many green things in that dish for my sons liking, lol

Thank you... Looks like if we ask for the chicken by itself, and anything else on the side, he'll be fine mixing/adding on his own... It's mostly about comfort and control for him. Thank you so much!
