Hi All,

Can someone please give me their feedback on the Yak and Yeti? The DH and I are contemplating going there for lunch but have heard mixed reviews.

DW and I ate at Yaki & Yeti for the first time on 1/15. We ate at the CS for lunch and the TS for dinner on the same day. We both agreed that both the CS and the TS restaurants were as good as we have ever had inside of any of the WDW parks.

Now, keep in mind, we both enjoy Asian Fusion food (i.e. PF Changs, for example). We had the seared ahi tuna for appetizer. The tuna was served on a sweet chilli slaw and was great!

DW had the Pho, as was recommended by our server. This dish is awesome!! We have a Thai relative who is an awesome cook and this dish was more authentic then I expected from WDW. I had the tempura shrimp which was good but it did not compare to the Pho.

The highlight of the meal was the fried wontons for dessert (also recommended). Unbelievable!!!

The crowds here were light but it was a Tuesday.

The atmosphere is nice and blends in well with the Asian theme surrounding E:E. I honestly cannot see us ever going back to AK and not eating here for dinner.

We went there for lunch, and I thought the sweet and sour chicken was pretty dry and not all that great. None of us were very impressed, so I doubt we will return there.

Agree. Pretty unimpressive--shopping mall Chinese menu (in fact, nowhere near That extensive). Our lunch there was perfectly ordinary. It is a pretty restaurant tho, and has the advantage of being the only real TS game in town at the AK.

Completely disagree with the previous 2 posters. There were some "shopping mall" chinese food dishes on the menu but we avoided those for obvious reasons. The tuna, the duck, the mussels, the lettuce wraps and the shrimp tempura were very well prepared with fresh ingredients. The "wok" section of the menu is very pedestrian and I would avoid that in favor of some of the more adventurous items. Order any of the specialities and you will have a great meal.

We loved it! If you check out my trip report on day 7 I have some great pics of the food we ate there. I am still confused at why the bad reviews as to us it was one of the best meals we ate at Disney

We absolutely LOVE Yak & Yeti! It's the only repeat ADR we have from last year's trip to this one. Our group had the following: Pan-fried pork dumplings, egg rolls (might have been spring rolls - can't remember), honey chicken, sweet and sour pork, vegetable lo mein and fried rice. It was all very very good! We have decided that this year we are ordering all appetizers and just lining the middle of the table with them to all share. :) I definitely think you should give it a try.
