Yak and Yeti resteraunt? Reservations??

Are they taking reservations yet for this? i want to make some for December but am not sure if they are doing them yet.

Also, can you call on a Sunday morning to make ressies??

I asked last week. There have been mixed reports as to when it will open. The girl had to ask her supervisor and they said they had no idea when it would open and didnt have the ability to book any reservations.

Yes, you can make reservations on Sundays - I don't know what time they open the phone lines.

Unless something has changed very recently, they aren't taking reservations for Yak and Yeti's yet.

i have a slight hijack/question about this place. People have been saying because it's a landrys it will not be on the dining plan. Since you can't get res. for the rainforest cafe w/ disney dining, does this mean you will not be able to make res. for yak & yeti as well??? just wondering.

Not a Disney owned Restuarant it will be owned by landrys, rainforest cafe people and they Will NOT accept the DDP, and right now its just a concrete foundation

This is a troublesome statement, because I've seen the site for the Y&Y in the last couple of weeks, and there is certainly a lot more there than a concrete foundation.

Disneyserver, just a gentle reminder ... your credibility will stand up better if you can stick to facts.

I called yesterday (two times...) and asked about Yak & Yeti and another. One CM asked "what's that?" (that's when I decided to call back). The other looked it up for me and said they aren't taking reservations yet, but to check back next week.

Latest word I have heard is that it will be opening October 8th (i think???). It is located where the tea company used to be, on the walkway headed towards Expidition Everest, nearby to the Kali River Rapids & the howler monkeys (love those guys!).

It does help, thanks! I'm waiting to book for November and had also read the Oct. 8th opening date.
