Yak and Yeti or Tusker house for lunch

I am so unsure what one I should do, Yak and yeti looks good and the tusker house just looks ok, I hate buffets but if the food is goo I will go to it. who ha seaten at these places and what do you think, help me out, I am so confused.

We enjoy Donald's Safari Breakfast at the Tusker House.
That being said, DH & I ADORE the Yak & Yeti~ the food is good, it's a lovely view if you can sit upstairs by the window...but the entire restaurant is interesting in itself. Definitely try it!!!

Another big fan of the Yak & Yeti. We've eaten there about 4 times now. Last week we had an upstairs table next to the window. Great view and much more quiet than the downstairs section.

They don't take the Dining Experience card, but if you have an AP they'll give you 10% off the entrees. Just thought I'd mention it.

I am a huge fan of Tusker House. I love the food - there are a large number of choices and the location is great. I don't usually like buffets either, but TH and CP at MK are both favorites of mine.

If you aren't a fan of buffets to begin with, missing Tusker House is a good idea. It's the most boring buffet on property and not all that well maintained. There are multiple duplications of dishes (minor variations, but dulplications none the less).

Yak and Yeti would be a better choice for you.

I know this is a little off topic, but reading this thread really makes me miss the "old" Tusker House. It was the best counter service restaurant in ALL of WDW!! Why did they mess with "near" perfection. Yes it was probably a good idea to move the character breakfast there, but lunch...I miss that salmon!!

Glad to read the positive posts about Y&Y. We'll give it a try our next trip to AK!

I agree completely! I loved the salmon there and my kids loved the chicken sandwich. I still don't understany why they got rid of it. It was always PACKED when we were there!
