Yak and Yeti or DTD?

We are going to AK and then to DTD and I cant decide if we should eat dinner at Y&Y or do a DTD restaurant. We are on the dining plan so if we did go eat dinner at DTD it would be a one credit meal. I have never ate at a TS in AK and have read many reviews and really want to try the famous dessert but as a whole is there a better place to eat at DTD? It would be 3 adults and one 4 year old. We are not picky eaters and like all different kinds of food. We already have ADRs for chefs de france, Tony's, mama melrose, tokyo dining and Be our guest so we would not want any more french or italian places on this trip. Any suggestions?! We ate at y & y in sept....it was excellent!! All 5 of us had something different and we all loved our meals! Didn't have high hopes.....but it was one of our best meals!

I would go to DTD, there many great choices which I feel are superior to Y & Y.

I would stop at animal kingdom lodge on your way to downtown Disney and have dinner at Boma. Yum!!! We love it there!! We did not enjoy yak and yeti AT ALL. If you go the DTD route, I recommend raglan road. We went because we enjoy the pub atmosphere and ended up loving the food. If you choose raglan road, you have to try the bread pudding for dessert!!

Y&Y is our must do! Love the desert and the Skirt steak and shrimp. Restaurant is beautiful.

Love Y&Y -- highly recommend! Have done Boma and Sanaa -- meh. There are nice restaurants in DTD, but they are variations of what you can find other places, while Y&Y was unique.

We also love Y&Y! It pleased everyone in our family. The wonton dessert is amazing!
