Yak and Yeti dinner reservation at park closing

I just made a 6:45pm dinner reservation at Yak and Yeti and Animal Kingdom park closes at 7pm

Since we rely on disney transportation, what time will the buses stop running once the park closes?

I am afraid that we will be stuck if we get out of dinner too late.

There should be busses running as long as there are guests in the park - and they know you are there in the restaurant.

Disney will run buses until the very last guest is out of the park/restaraunts. We did this once, and it was about 90 min. after AK closing til we came out. They had a dispatcher asking which resort you were going to, and everyone got on the same bus. It was a very long ride (an hour) but everyone got where they needed to go!

Wow, I didn't even think of this, that transportation wouldn't be running! We were going to try to do an evening Animal Kingdom restaurant ressie. If the restaurant is in the lodge, will we be able to use Disney transportation to get back to our room at the Contemporary, or will we have to cab it?

At the very least you can hop a bus to MK and walk from there or take a bus to the TTC and ride the monorail in.
