Do they really only have Mini Burger, Vegetable Lo Mein, Chicken Bites or
Egg Roll for the kids dinner? :confused3 We were so looking forward to going there but not if that is all they offer for the kids. Thanks.

I'm sure all Disney restaurants always have the Smuckers Uncrustable sandwiches available, but I would need to have someone confirm this.

Yes that is their kids menu. My DD got the Lo Mein and ODS got the chicken bites (like nuggets) and they loved it! They also got 2 sides w/ it.. the choices were jello, chicken fried rice, applesauce, or carrot/celery sticks. No one had an issue with their food, in fact, they cleaned their plates :) I think their menu is fine, and I was glad they offered something beyond the usual Disney kid fare! IF you go, make sure you get the fried wonton/pineapple dessert for yourself :)

Hamburger , Cheeseburger, Veg Lo Mein, Chicken Bites or an EggRoll is the entree

They have a choice of 2 side items. Apple Sauce, French Frys , Carrot Sticks, Jello, Chicken Fried Rice, or a cookie.

The 2 desserts are an Ice Cream Sundae and Chocolate Pudding.

There is nothing stopping you from giving them something from the adult menu or appetizer sections.

And no, this restaurant does not have any uncrustables in any shape or form.

We just ate here on Monday and it was yummy.. perhaps our best meal of the trip. My DD eats from the adult menu but I did see kids at the table next to us eating little pizzas. I thought " pizza at a chinese place? Interesting". I am not sure if they were a special request because on a dietary issue though. I will tell you the portions were decent sized and you could probably share some fo your meal with them.

We ate there in May and our kids loved it! Our son had the chicken bites and our daughter had the egg roll. They both picked the fried rice as a side and I tried it. I LOVED it!! It didn't come with my kobe burger so I helped them finish theirs!!

Did you ask? I know it's not on the menu, but the blog I read said they're available anywhere WDW serves food. I'll see if I can find it.

Well Yak n Yeti is not a Disney-owned restaurant so I wouldn't count on it. I thought the choices for kids at Yak n Yeti weren't any less than other places, and seemed fine to me. Our kids had the burger & chicken things and were happy with those.

I agree. To the original poster, I am wondering which non-signature restaurants have better kids' menus? The one at Yak & Yeti seems exactly the same as all the others.

YOu know, as kids CS goes, this is a pretty good selection for the children in my opinion. I know it depends what your kids do and don't like, but it is one of the very few places where the kids menu is a smaller version of the adult one. Considering all the complaints about lack of selection for kids, I am surprised the place isn't totally mobbed by families. Please let me make it clear that I am not suggesting, nor do I believe, that anyone on this thread is complaining, but generally the biggest gripe on kids menus is the lack of choice.

Some of the restaurants in Disney World are operated by outside companies under contract with Disney. Yak & Yeti is one of them, as are several in Downtown Disney and the World Showcase.

Yak & Yeti are owned by the same company who owns RFC and T-Rex.
But since Yak & Yeti is inside a WDW park, AK. it was negotiated to be part of the Disney Dining Plans.

Landry's owns Yak & Yeti, both Rain Forest Cafes, and T-Rex.

Tutto Italia is owned by the Patina restaurant group.

And there are others as well.
